nah cop is guilty AF. plain as day with the wealth of footage, testimony, and evidence.
Of manslaughter? Maybe, but even that’s a stretch.
Of murder 2 like you keep saying? Laughable.

I think its weird people celebrating this conviction when it was obvious this guy was not given a fair trial.
Why openly celebrate that?
Why openly celebrate that?

Nancy Pelosi: George Floyd’s name “will always be synonymous with justice and dignity and grace and prayerfulness.”
“Thank you George Floyd for sacrificing your life for justice."

Your beloved federal government trains us in this very restraint several times a year. Marshals, FBI, Secret Service, Capitol Police, so on and so on. Local and state police are also taught this same restraint method for a perp that's unruly and resisting.
Your beloved felon-colleagues are also trained to de-escalate force when appropriate, which DC did not do.

I don't know why you can't fricking grasp this concept and keep saying it's a "proven dangerous restraint" and the like. You have no idea what you're talking about, it happens ALL. THE. TIME. without incident.
because its very well known to be dangerous. you are supposed to learn that when you are trained in it. his colleagues knew it was dangerous and asked DC to de-escalate and use recovery position, he disregarded reasonable concerns.
quote:
You once again have no idea what you're talking about, as you've proven continuously throughout this thread
I pray you arent out there on the streets enforcing anything if you think you are trained to use that restraint for minutes after someone is not breathing and pulseless. even DC's partners knew better at the time, indisputable on footage.

Didn’t his own boss say otherwise under oath?

this verdict is the jury punting to the court of appeals and preventing a riot in minneapolis
there was never going to be a black juror voting not guilty under any circumstance
couple that with six white women on the jury and chauvin was cooked
if chauvin committed murder what about the three other cops? did they commit murder too? did they allow chauvin to commit murder?

I agree with you by the way. How about cops being held accountable.
I do, too.

They should let him out pending appeals.

Two lives have ended - both probably deserved it (in some respects) but it’s still odd to see so many people acting like they won the Super Bowl.

all charges were slam dunks, you are a potato to not realize that.
The needle was pushed by DC's colleagues testifying his actions were unreasonable. They knew better and tried to get DC to de-escalate, this is indisputable on footage. It seems like there is intent to apply unlawful restraint when you actively disregard reasonable concerns from your colleagues about the danger you are causing to another's life. They testified no reasonable officer would continue their force when the person has been pulseless and not breathing for minutes. again on footage from many angles.
its really plain as day, please potato less.

He sure as hell didn't when he put his knee on Floyd's neck and kept it there when Floyd said he couldn't breathe

They were everything but “slam dunks”. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it.
If that were the case this trial wouldn’t be getting the coverage that it is.

Time to go reverse oj verdict

This does not mean his actions led to Floyd's death.
Simply doing something someone else thinks was unreasonable does not mean you committed murder.

They still can’t tell you how much weight was on the dead criminals back.
