Do you know what the word "amendment" means
Do you understand the purpose of the Bill of Rights in the United States constitution? Do you not comprehend how there are negative connotations to those sworn to protect the Constitution openly saying they don't agree with it?

Yes but it allows him to use a whataboutism and not actually have to comment on the validity of the objection.

I watched the video and my initial reaction was guilty. I, like you, understood that there’s a lot more evidence we don’t know about.
From what I saw in the trial, I disagree with the verdict reached. I think manslaughter was met. I dont think anything else was.
But my initial comment was a general observation, because most people ITT have their sides drawn and are only open to information that affirms it. I haven’t seen any evidence that proves DC did not receive a fair trial, but if it were determined that were the case - I certainly hope he can get one on appeal.
I also have the self awareness to recognize I’m capable of being wrong, so yeah I’m going to laugh at the “if you don’t agree with me, you’re an idiot” posts.

You may not have heard...the dead FELON, did a little more than pass bogus bills during his long/illustrious criminal 'career'. Chauvin vastly over stepped arrest protocols...that's obvious ! manslaughter would have been the appropriate verdict in my honest opinion.
Young felons and felons 'in training' will certainly use similar moronic 'tactics' during their future encounters with police officers...don't you agree ??

Is this the same guy that put a gun to a pregnant woman's stomach or was that a different scumbag?

This is where I stand

The melt is going to be massive when the murder conviction is overturned on appeal and the manslaughter conviction doesn’t carry the sentence length they want.

Young felon cops in training might learn and not commit murder. Current cop felons put on notice. It's accountability season, sorry not sorry you cheer on murderers

What must the other cops be thinking who await their trial? My god the fear.

Moral victories don’t count in the W/L column.

No the first amendment did not. However, it’s never been ok for a president or politician to provide his opinion on an ongoing trial. It could be argued that is jury tampering if the politician has a large enough audience.

Not sure what you mean. I don’t care about Chauvin, but this was a show trial through and through.
The verdict of a trial being determined by political and media pressure is a huge issue that needs to be corrected.

Anything is possible, but appellate courts are highly reluctant at turning over jury verdicts. It'll be a mountain of a climb for the defense team to get that to happen.

Also Nancy Pelosi thanked George Floyd for dying.

So again, thank you George Floyd for sacrificing your life for justice. For being there to call out to your mom, how heartbreaking was that, call out for your mom, 'I can't breathe.
