I'm finally getting a chance to watch today. Why is Chauvin not wearing a mask today? Seems weird that they made him wear it the entire trial but not today.

In some ways it's easy. A lot is in the video. You have to be willing to see it. Nelson is showing it well.

He was earlier. Nelson isn't by him for an extended time so they take it off to see a face with it and to show he is a person and not a masked villain would be my guess.

CNN has to prime its viewership for maximum outrage. Their viewers have to expect that Chauvin is guilty of everything and that his defense was terrible for maximum rage once he gets off on all or some of the charges.
