Right but don't they have help from all across the nation? Surely some senior members in the office(s) are better than what we have seen.

It doesn't help that they were charged to prosecute a shite case.

Da's office is not normally comprised of the best and brightest, doesn't pay shite, low ceiling, usually a stepping stone type position

Do the actual elected DA's every try the cases themselves???

I can't believe Cub Foods didn't go after them for that name.

Purportedly the name is a play on Cub Foods, a major grocery retailer based in Minnesota.

Who is probably suing the arse off of Cup Foods for misappropriation of likeness, trademark, etc. and bringing their name into this shite.

I agree. I can't imagine they want to spend more time on this than they have to. It'll come down to which side of the jurors is more strong willed.

Maybe they were being “Minnesota nice.” Apparently it’s a big thing but yet in watching this trial I don’t see the social niceties of please, thank you, yes ma’am, no sir, that are common in the South.

Guess who didn't?

The dead drug addict
I mean, I think the felon got exactly what he wanted out of life. Every choice he had, every decision he made led him to this point.

He didn't try to do anything but be a frickup...and I'd say he won. Bigly. Yuge, even.

Yep. I've said it all along. With that crowd and with those body cams ... they clearly didn't think they were doing anything wrong.

That is meaningful. Not that the crime requires intentional wrongdoing.

They'll need it to offset all of these "unplanned donations" that are just around the corner.

Insurance companies are sweating bullets right now as well. About to make businesses start purchasing RIOT insurance like flood insurance. If the insurance companies decide to start doing this, I hope they also list areas like they do for floods where some areas are More prone to flooding andsome areas would be More prone to rioting and looting -you would have to pay more for insurance, if you could get it - Areas like downtown high dollar commercial and residential properties. That might wake up a few people who might agree that the issue of civil/criminal destruction of property MUST not be encouraged and promoted and actually do something about stopping it.

Doubt that would fly, it would be considered Red Lining.
Companies will non-renew and it will be more expensive to find replacement coverage. Losses follow a commercial account and can drive businesses out of business due to claims.

Anyone who is already thinking “not guilty” right now and has the gumption to actually argue it is probably already pretty certain of it and likely won’t be changing.

There will be more flips from guilty to not guilty as guilty is the perceived easier choice.
