“He didn't try to do anything but be a frickup...and I'd say he won.“

He did more good for his family than he did alive. Primarily by actually earning them some money. The family and the BLM founders with the new mansions.

In the little I've been able to watch Nelson is doing a great job. Focusing on the medical examiner's findings and how they differ from the State's 6 experts.

So I’m hearing that the only person to actually do an autopsy said several factors played a role in the death. Also, for the murder charge asphyxiation has to be the only reason if you convict. If that’s correct, why the hell are we here?

Now Nelson is saying there many factors that led to the death of GF...not just DC keening on his back. Drugs were contributing factor

I know people who knew him. His family would not have it any other way if given the choice. His death was the best thing that ever happened to his family. He moved to Minnesota for a reason and they were glad to see him go.

The saddest part will be when a guilty verdict is rendered.

His bit about the jury instruction on cause of death seems important.

That’s what this all ends up to be.... the family got $27 million. I doubt they care about the verdict at this point, unless they do what they think they HAVE to and come out in public with some kind of statement ....

The first rule of closing argument is don't wear out your welcome. Be succinct. Once the jury starts wishing you would shut up, you're in trouble.

This has gone on way too long.

They’ll somehow find a way to piss that $27 million away, too

No doubt. And they will do it shockingly quick.

Thems the breaks for the defense. Can’t leave a stone unturned. All you can do is apologize on the front end like he did for how long it will take and do your best not to waste anyone’s time or be too boring.
