He did make a good point that sequestering them right after the other shooting could be a signal that they are in danger and actually have the reverse effect
One of the jurist lives in the neighborhood of the latest shooting and where the looting is happening. They have to drive by protestors every morning. I'm pretty sure they already know they could be in danger so why not put them in a hotel with protection to let them see they are being kept safe.

Did you notice that after I gave ams her physiological profile she quit posting and logged off?

I believe AMS is getting her info from some other chat room and coming here to copy and paste.

AMS has just about ruined this entire topic. I bet half of the replies in this thread are either AMS saying stupid shite or someone responding to her. It's become about AMS and not about the trial. If the mods are paying attention, she really needs a timeout.
Chiropractors always think they know everything. Combine that with her being a woman and it all makes sense.

Did not know that. 100% need to be sequestered. That’s crazy.

I think I’ve identified AMS.

I hope this drags out until at least Tuesday night so I’ll be back from my trip and can watch the riots.

Watching the same testimony as the jury has I don't see 12 saying guilty. There is reasonable doubt without question.
But you’re not going to have your identity exposed and your life ruined for voting against the mob.

Pretty sure he’s a regular poli boarder. Not the combo I would have expected

They were discussing it this morning before trial started thats why I don't understand the judges " lets not bring attention to it and hopefully they won't notice" attitude. The jury is seeing everything with their own eyes they don't need to turn on the tv. Think about the jury member that lives in the neighborhood where all of this is going on how safe do you think he feels and does anyone honestly think they are saying to themselves " don't pay attention it has nothing to do with this case".

Never noticed AMS until now and I’m on PoliTalk a good bit, along with too many other boards for my own good.

Seeing riots first hand would without a doubt influence their opinion one way or the other. Mistrial incoming.

Just to look at it from a different viewpoint, full sequestration wouldn't alleviate the jurors' concerns for their safety once the trial's over though, eh? As in immediately upon completion. Because once the verdict is read (or possibly announcement of the lack of a verdict agreed upon by all 12 - mistrial), the jurors are merely thanked for their service and sent on their merry way, certificate of participation and payment of $20/day in hand.
On a related note, sadly I think one of the primary considerations of the judge/court is the cost of full sequestration the entire time.

He just gets pissy when he can't bait the guy into the answer he wants

Would Chauvin come across like a cold Scott Peterson?
If so, I would not put him on the stand.
Can he come across as compassionate, dedicated, hard worker type? If so, then maybe.

I don't know how this case ends up but I do know the female cop is toast and she will certainly spend some time in the klink.. I also think the drug dealer who pleas the 5th is going to make a special pill for GF's ex girlfriend who identified him as his dealer. She will be overdosed by Labor Day

She is an idiot. If she had said, after fighting my partner, and running to his car, I thought he was going for a firearm. He had firearms warrants.
That being said, if she cannot tell the difference between a sidearm and tazer, I wouldn't want to be in the room when she wants the remote control.
