If you don't want to spend the night in jail in Baton Rouge....then don't obstruct traffic in Baton Rouge.

BRPD handled the crowds incredibly well. I didn't have much respect for them when I lived there 10 years ago. In responding to the shooting and being the sacrificial lamb for left wing media activists, paid protesters, riots, and politicians..... Baton Rouge worked hard to keep everything above board. They turned the investigation to the feds within hours. They allowed people to protest but didn't let things get out of hand.

they weren't arrested for protesting. They were arrested for breaking the law and obstructing traffic. Why is this difficult to understand?

than being released just to say oh sorry you really didnt do anything wrong.
.

Have you never been pulled over for speeding and not received a ticket? They arrested the individuals to get them out of highway, but didn't want to tarnish their record over it.

Are you a teenager? This really isn't difficult to understand.

It's not difficult to understand. Do you have proof DeRay was obstructing traffic? And 100s were left off for that bullshite charge thankfully.

New orleans protestors blocked off saint charles chanting and nothing happened and they all went home peacefully

they broke the law and officers chose not to arrest. Again, see my speeding ticket example above.

Negative. Protesters who stepped into the street caused this. There is video evidence of it. BRPD was doing their job.

It must be since you are having fricking trouble understanding exactly why your hero Deray was hooked up in the first place.

Go see if Deray even had permits to protest legally in the first place.

There's video evidence of multiple protesters breaking the law after they were explicitly told not to.

for that bullshite charge thankfully.

1) Is it against the law to step into a busy street and/or highway and purposefully obstruct traffic?

2) Did numerous protesters do this?

Answer these questions. If your answer is Yes to both, then I'm not sure what you're whining about.

Now you know why the cops legally arrested the dumbasses in BR. You answered your own question. How about the situation in Memphis you scholar you?

quote:

The Memphis Black Lives Matter rally shut down the I-40 bridge Sunday night with hundreds of protesters refusing to leave. Traffic could not go across, but paramedic Bobby Harrell with Crittenden EMS was determined to get to a child who was stuck on the bridge with his family.

Next time youre driving down airline, trying to get to work- or school, or go make groceries.....ask yourself, "self, would it be cool for some people just to walk out in the middle of the road, and obstruct me from going where I need to be?"

We have laws, and I don't want this fool, or anyone else "protesting" blocking traffic when I need to be going wherever I need to be.

Early prediction: The lawyers will settle for some kind of statement from BRPD that it could have been handled differently to make the "victims" feel better...

And $23 million for the attorneys. Isn't that how those class actions generally work?
