De Ray would be the first one suing the city, BRPD, EBRSO, LSP & any other agency out there along with the driver & their insurance company if he were to have his foot run over.

Again, how hard is it to understand?
Do not go on the street
Do not resist arrest
Do what the cop says

Wasn't this his end game all along?

This will never see a courtroom.

Angry much there Barrister?

And yes, that is exactly how it works. Who here has ever gotten more than a few pennies on the dollar from a class action? *No one raises hand*

I would have done the same thing. The charge the protestors recieved was laughable, thats why they were dropped. Also numerous witnesses said they were mistreated in the jail, which is very believable. Police are just revenue collectors, and I would be happy to get some of the money back that I "invested" into the community.

LOL.

BR ain't burnt and stole down to nothing. Cops broke balls b/c they had to break balls.

Eff BLM, they are but a small step above ISIS. Thankfully the BLM leaders being the gutless, lazy group they are, quickly move on to softer targets.

Since the stupid BLM thugs were periscoping during protests, several of us witnessed him in the street and also saw him quickly run to the edge when the cops came up to arrest him.

He's a POS and he better not get a dime of our taxpayer money. In fact, we should send him and all the other lowlifes a bill from the city and state for costs incurred because of their protests.

If you side with him, you're a POS too. It is illegal to block roads in this state, but I want our legislators to actually state that a driver will not be charged if they run over someone blocking the street while protesting. If they did this, the problem would take care of itself. (Of course this wouldn't apply to people that actually have a permit to close a road)

the lines are being drawn. there no sitting on the fence anymore. If people don't pick sa side (moral and correct side), to me, they are a POS

I agree. Pick a side - and if it's the side with BLM, sjw's and their ilk, then I've got no use for you and I will not pretend otherwise.

I'm a cop with BRPD and I was out there for the protests every night. The protesters were told multiple times not to get into the street. When they entered into the roadway, we observed who it was in the street. Once we were lined up, we found those individuals and arrested them. Just because they got out of the street when we lined up didn't mean that they were then safe because they had completely disregarded previous direct orders.

You even admitted that you were in Nola and not in BR, so you have no idea what was going on. When the protesters were out of the roadway, we left them alone and let them do their thing.

Furthermore when it came to Dray, we had cameras along Airline Hwy and were watching who was in the street. By the time the arresting officers made it to him, yes he was out of the street, but he had been in the street prior to that after being told to stay out.

Just to add, I, along with all of the other officers, have really appreciated the support from the community. At points, I was literally speechless. Thank you to all of you out there who have supported us through this last month. It made me truly proud to serve this community.
