You're right.

But walking in the street after you've been warned by the police is against the law.

Hats off to the protesters who marched in the legal protests. frick you to the people who wanted to block the streets and highways.

DA's office came back and announced it will prosecute all 100+ people it said it previously would not prosecute.

Supposedly they told a lot of rioters from out of town that they didn't have to show up to their court date if they left Louisiana immediately.

Okay I have no proof he was obstructing traffic. In the video he appears to not be doing so.

It's called crowd control and not having a permit to having a public assembly in the street. It's against the law to jaywalk (look it up). Go back underground, troll.

That's the entire idea of jail. Last time I stayed overnight, the young, (20 something) jail officer came in and asked a group of about 30 of us..'Hey, who wants chocolate milk and who wants Orange Juice?' And I shite you not, about 15 dumbfricks actually answered.

Jail isn't supposed to be comfortable, unless you're in Norway or some shite.

I saw hella protestors block of numerous parts of st charles avenue in nola around two weeks ago. No body got arrested and i was held up for 2-3 minutes because all of the traffic

Just because people in New Orleans weren't arrested for it, doesn't mean it isn't against the law.

but in baton rouge i was not there and saw no evidence of people in the street

I watched a good bit of the live stream, and there were most certainly people in the street (Goodwood) and Airline Highway. Both had decent amounts of traffic flowing. Officers warned multiple times verbally, and even had an officer get on the loud speaker telling people they could protest but to stay out of the street.

What are you even talking about now?

New orleans protestors blocked off saint charles chanting and nothing happened and they all went home peacefully. BRPD caused this so there ya go. Lets see if i can break the downvote record.

It's put in place so that YOU do not get run over by a car going 50 MPH and over on the highway and die.

"Your Honor, this video shows that I was not walking in traffic."

"Officer? What do you have to say to this."

"The video does not show where his feet were when I decided to arrest him. He was in the street."

"Judgement for the City Parish, case closed."
