Deputy Nick Tullier, Hero Injured In BR Terrorist Attack, Badly In Need Of Prayers

quote:
As most of you have read from Mr. James Tullier’s updates, you know that Nick’s exit wound has opened back up. It has SIGNIFICANTLY opened back up. Let me be clear with you that this wound has never healed. It has been over 9 months now since the shooting. As you know Nick was shot three times. Once in the head, once in the abdomen, and once in the shoulder.
quote:
The bullet in his abdomen tore through his intestines basically shredding anything it came into contact with. This has been our biggest battle in my opinion. He has had countless surgeries trying to repair the damage that has been done. A month or so will pass and we will think we are in the clear, but it will always rear its ugly head.
quote:
Until Wednesday, we thought we were making progress with this wound. Wound care team, or Nick’s nurses will clean out the wound and pack it every day. Last week the wound was measuring 3 cm in depth. Yesterday, we measured the wound at 8.2 cm in depth.
quote:
I really want you to try to picture that. I want you to try to picture having a wound that deep in your side and having to suffer with that every day as medical staff has to shove packing inside your flesh.
quote:
Please, I beg of you do not stop praying for Nick. Prayers are truly the reason that he is still here and fighting for his life back every day.
Quotes taken from Blue Lives Matter web site.
Please send positive thoughts to the Tullier family. Lord knows, they have been through enough and any encouragement whether silent or written will help.

About a week before he was shot, he responded to a car accident I was involved in. Was an extrememly professional officer. I still have his business card. I'm still praying he pulls through this crap. He is one of the good guys.

And I was feeling sorry for myself.
Sending a sincere prayer of compassion and healing for Nick.

Prayers sent. I wonder if he has tried stem cells to help close it?
