I believe SFP is just saying there is a 2x standard on this board. Frat guys preying on 18y olds drunk of a grain alcohol punch is not looked down on as severely as a bunch of non frat dudes preying on drunk 18y olds at Reggie’s.

That two of the accused did not participate in the rape will be powerful evidence against the other two in court. There are levels of depravity , levels of morality , choices people make that will reflect very clearly on the two rapists predatory behavior. The other two will drive that home to a jury, I’m sure.

i don't necessarily understand your point. Things aren't what things used to be. Its just not a good defense of well back in the day we used to do this or that. That girl had no business getting white girl wasted in a college bar that puts out no effort to stop underage drinking. The young pretty white girls drives the bars business of stupidasses going there for the girls. It is a direct factor that led to this event. Could it have happened 2.5 years later when the girl is 21, maybe, but there's a reason for that age and part of it is maturity and wisdom.

That's not all that I'm trying to say but that's definitely part of it. Also I'm not trying to call out frat specifically I only responded to a comment about frat house parties because the same issues occur there. They occur everywhere on a college campus with all the different little groups

This is patently false. I'm not going to say this doesn't happen anywhere else, but this coupled with an LSU student getting shot to death on Government St is a major MAJOR issue.
I hate to see LSU suffer but these stories need to be publicized and sung from the rooftops. Coeds aren't getting killed at other comparable schools at these levels and if you think so, you're glaringly incorrect.
LSU MUST put more pressure on BR to stop this shite because in the end, stories like this have the power to eventually destroy a school. I know they can't control the mayor or chief's office, but they can make enough stink to get things done - and they need to.
If you are an LSU parent, your student's lives are in danger. And I'm an alum. It isn't safe here anymore.

The uncle and the 17 yo lawyered up and won't give statements. Washington is accused of actual rape but gave a statement. I think only the white driver will be a star witness. I see the uncle not wanting to testify against his nephew.

These things matter, if it ever goes to court and matter, even more in discussing plea deals. They are actually extremely important.
A ton of slicing and dicing it is going to go on between lawyers and prosecutors.
In my opinion, it’s important to make sure the discussion remains factually correct about these type of details.
