still grey area with 2 charged principal to 3rd degree rape or whatever the charge was. White boy should have drove his car straight to the sheriff station when all that was going down.

For all you “never LSU!” assholes, keep that in mind. This happens on every campus. You just know about this one. If you think your daughters are safe from this somewhere else, you are dreaming.
Now think about all the women walking around today scarred because they got shitfaced when they were eighteen and things
Exactly

Southern’s track record for violent crime isn’t great lately.
But does Southern's campus "seem" safer than LSU ?

No, it does not. Not at all. Does date rape occur? Most assuredly but this type of crime and the Rice murder certainly do NOT happen on every campus.

This is the first time I've ever seen this website unified in calling men who sleep with drunk women rapists. That's for sure.
We have a witness account of her being so drunk they were concerned for her enough to take her home, she was so drunk she didn't know which car to get into, she was so drunk she couldn't tell them where she lived, she was so drunk they had to ask her repeatedly if she consented, she was falling down, etc...
This is an account by one of the accused plus video footage.
I mean maybe that happens every time a guy sleeps with a drunk girl and it is discussed on the OT?

this is a major university thing and not a BR thing.
This is a moral less society/cultural thing. Alcohol is no excuse. being young and "charged up" is not excuse.
They are contributing factors and when introduced to someone with no morals results in horrific behavior.

He has to stay in his lane. He's LSU's president, not the BR mayor.
frick the mayor. He needs to have his foot on the Mayors neck every chance he gets.

Yeah it’s required at lsjw law

Slow, serious question, what does the actual law say regarding the in between cases.
Yes, everyone here basically agrees that if this girl was completely incoherent as it sounds (other than to the lawyer) then this is cut and dried.
It's not clear. This is the likely applicable language

When the victim is incapable of resisting or of understanding the nature of the act by reason of a stupor or abnormal condition of mind produced by an intoxicating agent or any cause and the offender knew or should have known of the victim's incapacity.
This example doesn't seem so grey but if the defense lawyers are willing to rely on the video of the sexual act then there is some gray. Usually in a rape situation the last thing you would ever want to rely on is a video of the sexual act. Clearly I haven't seen it but if that's the basis of their defense there's something in there that negates the incapacitated nature of the victim

Maybe not the resulting crime at this level, but underage drinking most certainly does happen at most college bars. I'd go as far as to argue that once someone turns 21, they often leave the college bar scene.

Exactly why Rs should include the Rape exception too.

When will they be charged with murder?

It’s a pre req to admission. And if you needed a lawyer, you’d be delighted.
The arrest warrant looks bad for some of these baws. But there will be holes in the story. Nobody has been cross examined. You’ve got a one-sided account from on witness with some corroborating video.
I read it quick, but did anything in the arrest warrant reference them videoing it?

That’s exactly what you did. You said it wasn’t rape and that it wasn’t their fault she was killed when the rapists dropped her in the middle of a 50 mph zone at a .3+ BAC
Don’t crawfish now
I'm not crawfishing they're two separate incidents. There is the alleged rape which seems like there's a lot of evidence for, and then there is the tragic death sometime later. You're conflating my comments about the second event and imputing them to the first.
I believe that the sheriff's came out and said that there was no criminal liability relating to the death
