I’m also waiting to see a toxicology report curious about what else was in her system other than alcohol?

Depends on what you mean by recently

Out of curiosity how hard is it to get an Uber that time of night in tigerland? I live in a bigger city and it is still tough at that time of light.

Plus, the 17 year old knew because he helped her off the floor in the video from Reggie's.
Precisely. They made many incriminating statements but this particular line you quoted from the affidavit flies in the face of the whole "17 yr old might be cleared bc she wanted it". You don't help someone off the floor drunk and think they are clear to frick.

Yeah was wondering if it had been hard for her to get a car then this all happened.

Impossible to get an Uber at that time of night when you left your phone in the bar. Now you can find serial rapist predators to give you a ride if you are an attractive female.

So has any actual new news come out recently or has it basically been 100+ pages of shite talking?
Last night a poster who owns a local restaurant claimed that Madison left her phone inside Reggies.
Only real significant development. The rest is shitty banter between the rest of us.

Washington admitted that she was very drunk. He said she was "not just drunk, but drunk drunk." Plus, the 17 year old knew because he helped her off the floor in the video from Reggie's. Even the driver said he "hated" what was happening in the back seat.
It will be interesting to see what "Dr." Lee has to say about the evening. It seems at least 3 were very aware of her level of intoxication.
I think if this makes trial, the handling of the initial statements will be very important. The statements seem to strongly imply that the suspects knew what they were doing was wrong based on her condition. However, with the Reggie's video and whatever the unreleased footage from the car shows, it may not be as slam dunk as some people think. If the defense is able to find a way to get the statements not allowed into evidence, all bets are off, unless there's some additional evidence that no one knows about yet.

Im not a lawyer and don't watch Law and Order. For what reasons can the statements not be allowed? If they were read miranda rights? I didn't see their lawyers make a claim that they were pressured or anything at the press conference.
Any legal folks able to give scenarios where it wouldnt be allowed?

I believe there was a poster on here who works at Reggie’s who said she left her phone and thought the guys had it which is why she ran after them thinking they took it.

If true, that favors the defense.

I thought she was incoherent and being carried to the car?

It would explain why one of the guys threw his hands up in the air right when she caught up to them. I realize there's no use in speculation, but that part of the video is odd.

There will likely be a motion to quash saying that the statements were legally or actually coerced. I doubt very seriously it will succeed.
If they try them all together, there will be a hearsay issue on whether one’s statement can be used against the other. I vaguely recall that it can, but I can’t remember why.
(For the law baws, it’s only an admission of party opponent against the one who made the statement; it’s hearsay against anyone else.)

So she runs to them, realizes they dont have it, and just says oh well?
It seems if she was coherent enough to run for her phone, she was coherent enough to ask them to help her find it. At the least going back to the bar to see if it were turned in. We are talking about a 19 yr old girl. They cant function without a phone.
Who knows. I just don't think the video supports the theory. Most likely left her phone bc she was too damn drunk to realize it and ran after her ride home.

The Reggie’s poster also said she collapsed shortly after catching up with them. I think the thread was whacked.

given the temps and precip that night,
The weather records I saw for 1/15/23 in BR showed temps in the low-30s but no trace of rain. It was freezing cold at 2:30AM but don't think it was raining.
Seems incredulous to me that someone who is incapable of giving an address and wandered into a highway would have been 'consenual' a few minutes earlier.
And why do you discard someone who consented to sex in freezing cold knowing she had no way to call an Uber?
Strange math trying to make this add up.
