People are way too hung up on this video.

collapsed shortly after catching up with them.

Collapsed is a strong word, but I think it's safe to say she would have hit the ground had one of the rapists not caught her.

You’re probably right. But it’s the only real piece of evidence we have besides what’s in the affidavit. So people are going to overanalyze.

Does barely being able to stand inside the bar and barely being coherent sound like a stupor to you? Or are we only going to base it on 10 seconds?

no, it does not sound like a stupor

I like that you didn't include the first part of the definition

If she has the sense to know that her phone is missing, think those guys have it, recognize them from behind from a distance, and give chase, id say she didn’t meet the first part of that definition either

I’m pretty sure all of that is speculation based solely on an anonymous post here.

Yeah was wondering if it had been hard for her to get a car then this all happened.

Well, one poster says she left her phone a Reggie's and the culprits said she couldn't give an address or provide directions to where she was going, so I imagine it would have been pretty difficult (impossible) to book an Uber.

I'll.just add you to the list of people that have no concept of what extremely intoxicated people can do while having zero recollection.

But you're right, the 19 year old with .319 BAC that according to her rapists was "drunk drunk" was totally in control.

Wait, the video showing her limp legs dragging across the ground as she’s carried toward the car leaves her ability to give consent to a gang bang as “unclear” to you?

There are still many who don't see her legs "dragging." The defense could easily claim that she trotted up and put her arms around them and vise-versa. It all depends on the viewer's interpretation.

I personally don't think that video helps her cause; however, I think the other video evidence will be just as important, if not more.

It would explain why one of the guys threw his hands up in the air

All speculation at this point. For all we know, the 17 y/o could've said, "I've got dibs!" and Washington said, "second!" and the other one said "third!" and the last one said, "Aw man" and threw his hands up. They can paint it however they want.

These people either only watched the WAFB video or closed their eyes.

WAFB

-selectively edits out the end of the reggie's video, stopping the video immediately after she gets to the group of guys.

-for their LP rape charge article, failed to mention that the girl had previously reported the rape in 2021. They just state that a witness has now come forward for the rape that happened in 2020, leading to his new arrest. As intended, this ignited a firestorm on their FB page leading people to think its just a big screwjob on Washington. LINK

Both of these were intentional race-baiting moves and they were successful.

I'm not sure why you omitted the part where I said it was useless to speculate and then told me it's only speculation lol.

I completely agree with you though. It's just strange that one guy throws his hands in the air immediately when she walks up and keeps them up until they start to walk away. Definitely wondering why.

But what else would you say about the posters both here on on the WAFB, WBRZ board saying she was drunk, wanted it, deserved it (one guy actually said that about the 12 y.o. on Facebook)?

Sure seems like misogyny and victim blaming explains a lot.

Those are just blowhards talking about it, not the actual perps committing violence.

I noticed this also. Screw WAFB for the way they are selectively instigating this disgusting and horrible tragedy.
