Aggravated rape is same as 1st degree. Just another term for it

They won't care, this victim is white too.

12 yr old was “hunting for that bbc”. 12 years old, my daughter is a mature 13… I want to rage on so many issues going on

Kiran is the best journalist in the state. I (and I'm sure others) sent an image of the victim's comment on I believe it was the WAFB comment thread. Had specific facts, she gave her name, and seemed worth speaking to her parent(s) and her, which Kiran did.
If you have ANY legit tip on a south Louisiana news story, send it to Kiran. She'll investigate. A true pro.
There's a distinct possibility the LP case could be tried before the one in Baton Rouge. Baton Rouge case has multiple defendants (motions, appeals, delays) while the one in LP could be heard in 5 to 6 months from now.
So Washington could go into the Brooks trial as a convicted first degree rapist.

Kiran said another witness came forward and that is what lead to the arrest

Alleged victim was 13 and he was 17 = yes, aggravated rape.
The alleged incident happened in 2020. She was 12. He was probably 15-16

I was just reading her posts and the comments from her followers.
This what journalism should be, serving the community, making the world a better place, not just exploiting things for clicks or trying to rile people up to hate each other. Think about the difference she is making on this... the big picture- It could potentially be the difference in keeping these guys off the street and from hurting more people later down the road. Now think about what the world could be like if all journalists had good intentions like Kiran.

Which means there is zero chance he can take the stand if that happens.

Washington likely has another victim or two in LP that will come forward.
Back in jail, Kaivon will be getting 'jailhouse lawyer' advice from his fellow inmates. He'll be looking to cooperate in the Baton Rouge charges so he won't be spending the rest of his life in jail.
As I said earlier in the thread, the Prisoner's Dilemma is at play.
What's that?
The first of the four perps to rat out the other three gets the best deal.
Jailhouse lawyers, "Go make that deal and fast, bro! You a young man. You wanna spend rest of your life in Angola?"
With him already in jail - possibly for life - why go after Washington to run concurrent sentences when prosecutors can nail the other three defendants in Madison's case?
The Livingston Parish charges change a lot of dynamics and incentives.

I think Walker is in CYA mode and that they simply didn’t bother talking to this witness before now.

common sense tells you she must have drank heavily in the bar a short period of time just before trotting out there to the truck and or after they got to the truck or sometime after that.
Common sense tells me you’re a fricking moron who didn’t watch the whole video, see her collapse at the end, or know anything about drunken, blackout behavior

He had the ages wrong, but I don’t think it matters under the law. From what I can tell it’s first degree rape automatically if the victim is under the age of 13, regardless of his age.
It also appears to be first degree rape if he had sex with her at all while she was under the age of 13, regardless of circumstance.

He will take the stand in Baton Rouge to testify AGAINST the other three defendants. All about getting a second degree rape plea and run it concurrent so he can get out in a decade vs. rot the rest of his life in prison.
He will say whatever it takes.
"Mr. Lee brought us down there to sell some weed. Casen said he wants to score some drunk p*ssy - that's exactly what he said before we got there. He was the one that chatted up Madison and said she felt safe with him. He offered he the ride and go her in the car. Whole thing was his idea."
Washington will say whatever it takes to not spend the rest of his life in prison.
The DA in BR now doesn't need Casen's testimony because he wants ALL FOUR to do serious time and Washington is already going to do that.
Hope Casen's friends here bashing me and family who read what I posted gave him that good advice I gave earler in this thread.
If they didn't, they may have put their buddy in prison for a decade.

It’s the lawyers job. Trust me, he probably hates defending this prick.

During Woody’s podcast yest another victim sent a message to Jim & Woody while they were recording. Two had come forward so there’s a 3rd one now.

I think you should start your own thread to discuss your sexual exploits as a young LSU undergraduate.
I don’t see any relevance to this situation.

If he gets convicted of first degree rape as an adult in the Walker case, it’s life without parole anyway.
