obeying speed limit laws are pretty fricking important.

Do you have some evidence that the cops that worked the scene must have missed?

If not, can you shut the frick up already?

Idk its dark as shite where she was. i used to see deer all the time out there. I know maybe its been developed a bit, but last time i was out there it still really wasnt around that pelican subdivision. That would be before you got to gardere and all that.

the only thing the driver would be worried about is their own BAC.

Do you have any reason to believe he was speeding? He has been cleared by police hasn't he?

Also, if he was going 3 mph over the speed limit you think he should be charged or something?

Do you have evidence that he was speeding?

What are you basing your claims on?

I read his post as a comparison to the OP, not as a directed towards the driver

But maybe im wrong...?

Pretty fricking easy on a pitch black road and someone wearing dark clothing.

I was driving to work this morning on a road with no streetlights and I didn't see the guy 1 foot off the road until I was a couple carlengths away.

I live in Slidell, and can't count the number of times I've seen this, and they usually wear dark clothing as well.

Are you aware that situations like this (a person being struck by a car and dying) occur and people aren’t charged or face any legal issues?

That does happen.

Scruffy just found a bunch with a simple google search.

off the road and on the road. Do you understand the difference and how head lights work and how its different coming to a stop at 55 mph than say 68 mph?

Headlights light up one foot outside the road just fine, you argumentative prick.

i'm totally aware. so you're explaining to me that the driver speeding or possibly being distracted is of no relevance to the investigation of the crash? That's literally what you are arguing with me over asking.

That no one outside of the driver can answer at this point. If the investigation into the crash is still ongoing, then you'll have to wait for those results to be released.

Until then, you're just a guy asking inane questions that aren't pertinent to the discussion at hand.

There will be a lot of upset people with means to do something if he doesn’t.

Two female LSU students dead within a few months of each other under bad circumstances is the kind of stuff that people draw the line at.

Look up from what? You think the cops did enough work to clear this guy from being impaired but didn't consider his speed and level of attention?

Again, do you have an actual evidence to back up your witch hunt? Or are you just going to be today's meauxjeaux harping on some inconsequential bullshite while derailing the thread?
