The chick that cuts my hair got cheated out of nearly $5k in refunds because the salon was too lazy to split out credit card tips from her salary, and she couldn't legally use No Tax on Tips.
The bartenders at my local (probably about to close) won't get paid credit card tips for nearly up to a month, because the owners are Indian, and in trouble. So yes, I tip them in cash.

I agree with why you use cash, but in reality it isn't king anymore. Not in today's economy. I say this because its not as widely accepted as it used to be. There are events and even some service businesses that do not accept cash.

The people that are slow at an ATM are the same arseholes that park at the pump and go inside to buy cigarettes and lottery tickets, take up a whole aisle at a store walking slow so everyone has to wait behind them, have whole conversations on speaker phone in public that nobody else wants to hear, and stay in the left lane the entire drive without passing the car beside them in the right lane.
