Not defending Delta, but it is more left doing left things.

FYI - I have a friend in a wheelchair and the aisle chair they use to bring you in out is very narrow and they are supposed to strap you in.

asked the airline to provide her with a specialized wheelchair equipped with straps that help her sit upright.
That's where she lost me. Also the "dirty" blanket part.

the employee allegedly told her to "shut the frick up,"
Solid advice.

OweO finally found a date. Unfortunately, she’s not into bondage.

She bought her ticket
She knew what she was getting into
I say, let her get strapped down.

Leftist utopias are made up of nasty mean people that hate the imperfect people in the world.
Holland - Tie MS woman to wheelchair. Blanket was probably infected with smallpox
England - Let small children die and physically prevent parents from seeking another option
Germany - Final solution
Sweden - Rapist get 15 months

Delta is the OTs untouchable airline for whatever reason. Many will defend or post "let's be reasonable and wait for Delta's side about this". If it was United, SWA, American, etc, it would be all out war.

I sit in a chair to eat dinner and use a blanket to cover up at night...this hits close to home

Yeah, until the airline shoves it in the overhead bin and it suffocates.

The good news is that the pot in Amsterdam will cure MS, right?

She doesn't have to be into it, she just has to be still long enough to get tied up

Im not sure how it works for everyone, but on SouthWest, you go to the entrance of the plane in your own chair and then you transfer to the aisle chair, which they strap you to and take you to your seat. It seems like she requested a chair after the flight.
We really have no idea what happened, but there is always 2 sides of a story.. And it seems like saying "they tied her up with a dirty blanket" is being a little dramatic.
When I fly, I don't ever use an aisle chair. I just pick the front seat, then they take my wheelchair and load it on the plane. When it's time to get off, everyone gets off, they bring my chair to me and I get in and I am good to go.
People who need wheelchairs have different needs. Not everyone needs straps to hold them up, etc. So I am just curious.. If she needed a wheelchair, after the flight, which seems to be the case, it seemed like she would have her own which would be customized to fit her needs. The wheelchairs at the airport are just standard push wheelchairs.

I asked delta to accommodate me with a lazy boy so I could sit in a laid back position and they seat belted me to a shitty airplane seat
Where's my money?

Why didn't she have her own wheelchair?
A lot of people who have their own chairs have battery powered chairs that don't collapse and can't be brought on the plane.
