Bruh if you post something else wishcasting this shite to LC again I will find a sonic open over here...

In instances as dire as these, I'm sure we can make an exception for a Waffle House.

Chances the ridge could build in enough to trap it in the W gulf for a minute and get a hard NE kick vs a gradual turn (aka the Miss/Ala scenario that Levi posited tonight)?

I haven't had time to watch has video but it seems possible. The Canadian ensemble shows something like this. I get Gamma slowing down Delta but I'm not sure how much more of that can legit happen based on the current setup, models have already slowed Delta a lot. The more extreme kick back to the NE, I haven't looked too deep into that up to this point, so don't know all the options for that to happen.

You assholes get me excited to see these models kicking it further and further from my house.... then I realize yall only showing one ensemble that's been an outlier all year and my weather boner goes away.

Levi's video tonight explains explicitly why Flora-Bama area isn't completely out of the woods just yet

Sure, he’s a careful guy, but the Orange Beach area, if at risk, would likely have ample time to prepare. It would mean a slower meandering storm in the central GOM, so it shouldn’t catch anyone off guard.

BTW, that forecast has Delta to be centered directly over Oxford, MS at 2 PM Saturday.
Alabama plays at Ole Miss at 5 PM Saturday.

Levi’s tone was more of a “don’t let your guard down Flora-Bama, but LA is the most likely candidate by a lot this time around.” I understand his logic, but it’s an outlier at this point by a lot.

He also explicitly says several times that it's on the low end of probability. I guess you can't say they're out of the woods but it seems unlikely.

May see a shirt because of guidance, but it’s not that far SW, if at all. It’s been moving NNW or so for a bit. Center is offset from the center of cloud cover, somewhere near this swastika.

Latest VDM pins it nearly right on top of the last issued track.
