It doesn't matter. Just point your meat pistol towards her face so she can see where you are coming from.

110 is a stretch probably but there is justification with the FL and drops and the NHC likes to slowly drop the wind speed. 4 pm will get it down to like 100, seeing how it's degrading on satellite.

IRL ground winds are like 90... 100 MAX

Accuweather is showing sustained 60 mph W and WNW wind and 76 mph gusts for a short time in South BR tonight. Do ya'll think we see anywhere near that or is it not so "accu"....

Depending on how far east Delta can get of LC, LC may see the strongest winds out of the north. That will be much different than Laura, with obviously much lower wind speeds than Laura. May still cause some additional tree loss though.

Yes, the NHC is going to be slow to drop the winds to reality. I'd of called it 95 from what I just saw, but I get why they do what they do and there was at least some data to somewhat justify it.

They'll get it down to Cat 1 by landfall.

TWC just showed forecasted gusts of 50-60 mph at max in Ellick

I doubt it'll get that high

CenLA should be ok... barring rogue tornado

The band of 100 knot flight level winds is currently between 93.0 West and 93.3 West or only about 20 miles wide (light pink color).

The surface winds are not as strong but wherever that 20 mile stretch ends up over land is where the signficant hurricane force winds will be.

I hope Cap is wrong about 50-70 mph gusts. Seems high.

NWS has lowered max sustained to 32 mph.
