Maybe but the NHC nailed Laura’s path 4 days out. They are usually very accurate 72 hours out in recent years

How wide was the cone of despair at the 72 hour mark for Laura?
There is a lot of coastline exposed if Gamma pulls NNE early and lands on the east side of the current 72 hour cone.

Thank you. It just seems that I recall either the western or the eastern eye wall being "bigger/thicker" than the other .. just wondering which I'd want to be in if I had to be in one for this.

The right front is the worst. In this case, the NE side.

I almost think it is. Outside of light shear, there wasn't much limiting at least steady strengthening. If it has leveled off, EWRC would have to be the leading culprit as to why.

Gonna be alot of folks watching that plane in a little while.

Yeah the current track I saw is not promising. Are we at the point where we should be taking it seriously or should we wait until after it pounds Mexico?

It being the projected track

I would definitely be taking this one seriously if I am anywhere near the current track.

If I were in Lafayette, I would make a decision about what to do based on the 10:00AM update tomorrow morning. But I'm just an idiot on the internet.

It will trend even further west. I see a Laura track

With that feature in Texas, I think Delta has gone the extent it will west. It may not track back east much, or maybe it will, who knows. But I wouldn’t count on much more western shifts.

I’m waiting to see what the path looks like after it gets through Mexico. If it doesn’t change, I may bounce!
