FWIW, this is from Zach Fradella @ wvue

quote:

Honest opinions...if I lived from Abbeville to Houma, I am very concerned about a direct strike. That includes inland locations up to Lafayette/Baton Rouge. Power outages could be widespread for these areas.

New Orleans/North Shore, I'm feeling a little better but we will take a good hit. Especially as Delta grows in size we will have tornadoes/coastal flooding and at the very least tropical storm force winds.

Track shifts can still be expected.

It's true. He is a pro at that.

That's what I'm saying. Slack is probably right, but damn it's just not worth it.

I won the ban bet if all ban bets and that little Rollie Poly bitch didn’t honor his ban.

And 50 of his posts are him saying the storm is going to Texas in this thread.

I’m not on board with losing slack until hurricane season is over. Does the board have a say in whether or not this bet goes through?

This has been the most eccentric thread of the year, without a doubt.

18z GFS is lock, step, and key with the 12z run. Vermilion Bay. 964MB

Also important to note that the western trend of the prior 3-4 runs has stopped.
