The only thing positive about the Lake Charles area is most of your weaknesses in trees and power have already been mitigated by Laura. So aside from that fact that another storm in Lake Charles would suck arse on a level even shitty for 2020, it would likely cause less impact than if it hit elsewhere.

How ignorant could you possibly be....

And I don't think they would be "guesses" as opposed to scientific facts.

All of the conditions are in place for Delta to undergo a rapid intensification.

Care to explain?

Maybe so but there is a ton of debris roadside that would be flying all over the place and while a lot of work has been done to the grid, it seems like there is still alot of temp fixes that wouldn't make it through a storm.

Even a decent wind will rip off a lot of tarps and cause more water damage in peoples' homes.

agreed with considering the timber has been dropped, but the scary issue is the debris not yet extracted as Stout pointed out. That is why debris contractors are likely in a race against time right now....

I just noticed this monster today so not up to speed on forecasts. Any shear out there, cold fronts, etc. that could slow this bitch down?

I can't remember a 130 mph hurricane without an eye. This thing is going to pop out an eye and go cat 5 before it hits the yucatan.
