That’s an hour walk. Even for a fattie. Quit being fat.

You seem awful caught up on the whole devil's lettuce thing my dude. It's 2022 and it's legal almost everywhere if you want it.

I don’t understand. I thought Obama made healthcare free?

You can’t think of any reasons?

Only extreme situations. Maybe your car is in the repair shop and for some reason you don't have a rental? Maybe you're responsible to watch a relative who's bed ridden and can't be left alone?

Honestly, the situations that would require delivery must make up less than ~2% of the total deliveries. ~98% are dumb lazy bastards.

Never paid a food delivery charge. Oh wait, nobody gone deliver way out here in phuckin country.

But my buddy complains about the delivery fees they pay 3-4 times a week in the city. They are all fat as hogs and barely make enough to pay the rent but according to Facebook they are "living the life"!

Why does anyone pay for delivery? It's not going to be at your house any faster than if you get it yourself. Unless there's some crazy reason you just can't leave your house? Makes no sense to pay and tip someone else

Because while the delivery guy delivers to me for 4.50 in 20 minutes (a rate of 13.50/hr) I’m enjoying time with my family or earning a higher hourly rate.

I used to order delivery back in the day. The dominos locally has pick up only specials that are cheaper than delivery, not to mention saving delivery cost and tip.

We also have a neighborhood bar next door to the dominos, so grabbing a beer while waiting for a pizza isn’t bad.

Get off your arse if you want to save $4.50.
Otherwise, STFU and pay it.
You looked at the price of gas and lack of workers across the board lately?

Reataurants employing drivers still need to pay insurance, fuel, and wages, even though it doesnt directly go to the driver as a tip it's still paying for the delivery service.

It’s also a great way to raise prices without changing the menu. No one wants to back out after putting together an order.

It’s like a hotel throwing on a resort fee after instead of just raising rates $20

Not sure why folks are stanning for Pizza Hut but totally agree with you. The charges are excessive and, in some cases with GrubHub/UberEats, the restaurants will jack up their prices, too. A meal
That might cost you $20 at the Mexican joint ends up running $35 by the time everyone is done taking their piece. It’s obscene.
