4-8 inches on the northshore will be okay but any snow in New Orleans will be problematic will all of those cars with no tread on them.

Anyone here have experience with the Freeze Miser for preventing external hose bibs from busting during cold weather?

It gets into the mid 40’s Thursday. Bridges may be tricky but I would think by Thursday afternoon that drive would be doable.

Maybe by Thursday afternoon Wednesday won’t get out of 30”s so nothing will melt on the basin bridge. Then it’ll just harden back overnight.

I have my gas stoves that we use for camping. Between those and our mountain camping gear, we should be good, even without a generator.

Been seeing the NAM is a hi-res model here whatever that means and saw Zack Fradella say the same thing yesterday about waiting on the NAM models to get in range for more details. Does that mean that map is more reliable? Maybe half a foot to south central LA and same for south central MS?

Alright, baws.

I’ve got to get from BR to NOLA on Wednesday. Think Airline Highway will be open?

That's what I was saying last night. It always turns out to be ice and that's 100x worse than snow. Don't really care about snow but you know this thing is going to push a bunch of ice through which is going to mess things up. I hope it's minimum.

Right now I would guess it would be closed early and open around noon, but that is just a guess

i trust official forecasts, and the winter storm watch states 4-8" of snow based on studying the blend of models
