This was an amazing day. Adult Christmas. Been outside since midday with the family. Easily best day as a family. Melting our frozen snot bubbles now. However today happened, thanks.
6.25 inches according to my yard measure. Insane

The snow is firming up quickly.
At first it was powder down to the ground. Now sinking only maybe 2 inches out of the 8 on the ground.
Roads are a shite show. Baws in trucks with MTs driving too fast only to realize they can't stop or turn.
Jesus Christ... If you buy all terrains... Make sure they have the severe snow rated symbol on them.

The phrase once in a lifetime event gets thrown around a lot but a foot of snow in Louisiana is truly a once in a lifetime event. Flirting with 1890s records.

Now the snow is forecast to not stop here till about 10. They've pushed it back 3 hours in the last hour and a half. Either the system has.moved either farther north, or it's stalling. 3" forecast now here in West Central Georgia

It’s actually kind of sad knowing I’ll probably never see this again before I die.

I’ll have to give the town of Franklinton some credit, they have Bobcats clearing the streets in town. Of course, the SouthShore got a lot more than we did.

well it wasn't an exaggeration. we've shattered records here. the blizzard of the millenium. they've shut down the entire county. all roads and businesses closed.

8.5” in Old Metairie with a flat board. Some snowdrift areas were 20”.
Eta: make that 9” before it stopped

I’m 55. My husband and I walked the neighborhood, built two snowmen and had a snowball fight that we got on the ring camera.
We tried to make the most of it.
Edit .. we got a little more than 7 inches south Vermilion Parish.
