It's a once in a lifetime event down here. Let us have our fun. We'll be partying outside in a Cat 3 hurricane in 8 months.

If Jen were to come to BR, I might take a road trip to where she is.

When all is said and done this should be 2-3x anything in recent memory in BR

There’s absolutely no way Louisiana will have the ability to open anything tomorrow lol

By the lake I’m still just seeing a strong dusting. Still not covering all of the blades of grass and nothing sticking to sidewalks and streets. Still more than I’ve seen since 1989 though
That’s crazy. I’m in between causeway and bonnabel and my street and yards are covered in snow. Maybe the wind from the lake is keeping it from sticking by you.

It’s snowing harder than it’s been all morning in Welsh. North wind has also picked up.

Live in Zachary. We have already surpassed 2008 with 4 more hours to go. One big difference is it got into the high 50’s the day after in 2008. Going to be 38-40 for high tomorrow. This is going to be around until later Thursday

My ol mawmaw (in her 90's) said 9 is the lowest she remembers and she's never seen snow anything like this.
She also said to enjoy it because It'll be 100* before you know it.
Eta: first vehicle in ditch of the event. Last time I had 3.

Definitely have 2-3 inches on the ground, and only about an hour left of snow per the radar. SELA gonna get it for hours.

I’m a couple blocks from the lake. We’re covered. Been waiting on the wind to die down to let the kids out. I went out and it’s brutal. May need to start drinking.
