7:30 in God's country, St. George. Dogs are loving it.

This thread has to be amusing to lurkers/posters who live anywhere north of Arkansas with people going nuts about a couple inches. To them that's any Tuesday from December to March.
It’s like people live in different climates

Acadia Parish, blizzard happening now.
Deep snow drifts, snow piled high on roofs.
It’s not something I ever expected to see.

one of my dogs put one paw out the door and turned around. The 12 pound poodle mix on the other hand went out and had a ball. Refused to come in.
My short hair dachshund said frick no! My long haired one and my lab won’t come back inside. The lab is rolling and sliding on her back like she does this every day, and she’s never been in snow.

We got 6 inches north of Dallas over a week ago and some of it still hasn’t melted
It was very fun for a day or two and now I’m ready for spring. I don’t know how people up north deal with snow on the ground four months a year
All the cars are dirty as shite with all that salt on it

Weather channel must be cutting costs. Nobody in Louisiana. But if this was Atlanta they would have 10.

It’s still coming down hard in Lake Charles. Our footprints are completely covered from when we went outside thirty minutes. This is crazy!

What part of Metairie? It’s coming down hard where I am.
By the lake I’m still just seeing a strong dusting. Still not covering all of the blades of grass and nothing sticking to sidewalks and streets. Still more than I’ve seen since 1989 though

or when they freak out over heat waves…
Turns out when something rare happens outside of the norm for their typical climate they act accordingly. Wild stuff
