Accumulation in Baton Rouge at 5am

Roads are still too warm for it to stick on streets, but the I-10 bridge and some others are closed. At some point the surface streets will start freezing today then may thaw a tiny bit once temps get back 32-33.

Tonight is going to be the bitch as all of that freezes hard.

Yard with about 3" so far. Had to be coming down sideways because my cars are covered UNDER the carport! My American Akita LOVES it!

Yup. There will be ice everywhere tomorrow. The low is like 12 and won’t get over freezing for long enough to melt all the snow and then Thursday the low is 20… so driving will still be danderous.

Im starting to think that what im watching is once in a lifetime for acadiana. Blizzard-like snowfall in the daylight with 3 inches already on the ground.

Snow coming down pretty good in Lake Vista. Cars getting covered along with deck and back yard. Already almost slipped on my deck as I took video. Time to get my boots on.

Yea man this is insane. We’re used to the little flurries that never stick to anything. This is some real snow this time
