Dallas has some of the worst weather in the country

Was this thread the most benign weather, or the best weather?

I was thinking of somewhere that lacked natural disasters. Yeah, it’s hot, and in the winters it’s cold sometimes, but you don’t really have hurricanes, earthquakes, blizzards, I admit I have no clue about tornadoes in that area, but it’s free from most of the main natural disasters.

Delaware is interesting. Hadn’t considered anything east of the MS River to be honest.

Doesn’t San Diego have earthquakes? I can’t handle that shite.

If it were up to me, I’d move to Salt Lake tomorrow. The valley doesn’t get the weather that the mountains do. The occasional snow storm, infrequent thunderstorm, but the earthquakes would bother me.

San Diego’s the only answer in this thread… stay classy

Nothing mentioned in this thread even comes close to the perfection of San Diego weather.

Should be arguing about the distant second.

Not complicated. It’s San Diego or even better La Jolla.

It does but the fault lines far enough away that earthquakes are less of a risk than LA or SF.

ETA, I was surprised to find out San Diego and San Diego proper roads kind of suck. They are in disrepair.

Pretty much every month temps.
High : 80
Low 70

No real Volcano's on this island. I guess Sunshine 12 months a year and same temps would get old but you did say Benign weather.

I lived in SD/ Del Mar for 23 years and I don't get the hard on. The weather changes once a year from not quite hot to just not hot. I bragged about the weather for a decade, but really got to missing the seasons.

There was that 1 year where the ash from the fires made everything look like snow.

Dunno, but I am an hour+ NE of Atlanta and it's about as calm a weather outlook here than anywhere I've ever been.

I've lived all over the country. My answer is Vegas and it's not even close.

Sure it gets to 120F in summertime but there are zero ice storms, hail storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, etc, very little rain and you never have to check the weather forecast when you live there. The only question is will it be 110 or 115?

I lived in Thousand Oaks CA for about 10 years and the weather was ridiculous…seldom over 90, seldom under 40. Hardly ever rained and it didn’t have thunderstorms…
I use to say living there was not fair to the rest of the country.
