Yeah they're just garter snakes but you try reaching your hand into your strainer in the dark and touching a mass of writhing snakes.
I'm using a flashlight from now on.

I never do that since I checked mine once and there was a big arse leopard swamp frog in it. First second, see just dark big arse head the size of my hand sticking out; next second, it’s thrashing around like crazy.
