I've got you beat. I'm driving a 2011 Infiniti M37 with <90k on it that I love and is still fun to drive. Paid $29k for it and it's been paid off for years...my most expensive ride yet.

Where at? Looking at them currently.

I bought my first brand new vehicle in 2004. It was a Silverado. MSRP was $30,000.00.

I just bought a 2024 GMC Sierra XLT for $13k off sticker price and 0% interest for 36mo. They also offered me $2,000 more on my trade in than they did back in July and I have 11,000 more miles on since then. They must be hurting to offer that.

72k for a 1/2 ton pickup is insane to me.
Because it is insane. I've been sitting out with my 200k mile half-ton, and I will continue to do so until the maintenance forces my hand. We should all sit out for as long as possible and make them bleed. The dealership model is a big part of the problem. Dealers add little to no value, just markup and BS.
Bought exactly 1 truck from a dealer 25 years ago and said F that. Been buying used via person-to-person sales ever since and have had no issues.
Would be better for everyone if the new car dealership model was less shitty, though.

Got 8300 off Bronco in August 49.5k MSRP 41.2k sale price. Dealer said last year he sold same model with 10k dealer markup.
There are some underwater mofo’s out there.

I got $9,500 off my 2024 1794 limited tundra at the end of Aug. 1.9% for 48 months.

I used to like getting a new one every 5-6 years, but I think I've reached the point in life where they are nothing more than a tool to me. My 7 yr old truck has plenty of life left in it.
I am in the same boat. My intention was to buy a brand new Tacoma when the scamdemic prices leveled off. Then Toyota went and got stupid and got rid of the V-6 and made a unattractive truck even uglier with this new body style. So I decided to just stick with my 2011 Silverado that has 166,000 miles but still looks fairly new and has zero issues. Instead I am going to replace my commuter car that has over 200,000 miles and buy a new or fairly new Corolla SE. Yeah yeah I know everyone says get the Camry, I just hate the way they look.

I’m in Nashville and just bought a certified pre owned 2022 Tacoma with 13K miles on it for $27K. I had a shitty Camry that they gave me $5K on a trade in
This had to be a stripped down single cab. Their is no way you got a double cab SR5 or TRD sport for that. Unless the salesman was drunk or high and in that case congrats.

I’m betting that we will have some better interest rates in about 8 months once Trump gets in and has some time

When I was a child, my friend’s grandfather drove around in a 20 year old step side with three on the tree. I did not understand why then, now I do.

All those "rebates" seem like BS. I don't remember there ever being rebates from Ford on Raptors and I've had a couple. Your 12k off seems like a complete anomaly. In spring 2020 you could get 5k or so off and that's about the best I've ever seen/heard of. That's way below invoice and like I said there are never rebates on Ford Performance or (previously SVT) vehicles.

Is this not a seasonal thing where prices fall and incentives increase? I don't know if that's still an occurrence in the auto market.

I bought a 2024 Tundra on Labor Day weekend with $10k off. Might be an end of the month thing

I just saw a commercial a few days ago where Jeep is offering 0% financing on gas powered Wranglers. I can't remember when I last saw them having to push Wranglers like that.

I signed and ran. They also gave me $2k above what I expected on a trade. Either they were desperate to move inventory and looking to cut deals or just “meh”. It also came with a lifetime warranty on the powertrain so it’s going to be run into the ground, with routine maintenance of course.
