Congrats man! If I recall, you hunt near us. Has the rut kicked off? I’ll be up next weekend and hoping I’m not too late.

re: Tires on sale at Walmart

Bought these same exact tires for our Expedition Max last night - first set of Coopers I have ever bought but had nice reviews. Came out to be 1/2 the price of the Discount Tire ones I was looking at with similar specs for tires, installation and as a Walmart + member, you get the road hazard warranty and free flat repairs included at no charge.
re: What's worse? Yellow real teeth, or obvious fake white "teeth"?

We in the dental field call it Toilet Bowl White - natural shades are definitely the way to go, but unfortunately, you have to take into account the patient's desires and some people want those white chiclets.

I disagree. Homer really seems to try to pose the question of what qualities make an excellent man. Hector seems to be the juxtaposition to Achilles who represents the brutal warrior, who sat on the sidelines like a spoiled brat, until he finally decides to enter the fray. Meanwhile, you see moments of Hector as a loving father, a courageous leader and eventual martyr for his polis. He's my favorite character in the Iliad.
Enjoyed this very much growing up in Monroe. We went to Shreveport to a Mudbugs game the same day they were playing in the Independence bowl and trolled traveling Gumps with the score on a piece of paper in the window. Got a few laughs but a lot of birds, too.

It’s funny but I’d still trademark that shite cause someone else will definitely try to steal that idea and make $$$
re: Level/Grade for gravel patio area - advice needed
Posted by kicker22 on 7/28/25 at 2:26 pm to WhiskeyThrottle
Thanks for specifics on the gravel. Good guess - it's 27' x 16' I've got marked off. We currenly have that gravel in the pictures and the solution we plan to do is that mulch/stone glue. If you catch one of those small rocks barefoot in the wrong spot, it hurts like hell
Any issues with weed control? I was thinking of putting down lawn cloth between the crushed rock/sand layers.

Part of it is cost/DIY capability of this vs. pouring concrete and also the large magnolia near the area which would pose problems with pouring concrete.
Level/Grade for gravel patio area - advice needed

Good morning,
I’m looking to create a gravel patio with pavers. I know I need to dig up old sod and part of this area is a little low as is. Need some advice on type of dirt/sand to put down to level/grade and any other tips for this project.

Those dudes are still talking about Louisiana and the food like 2 weeks after being home. I wouldn’t be shocked if they came. If you told them to come and just offer a free meal and no posts necessary, they may come and do it anyways. Definitely worth a DM.

Baseball is weird. You can get swept by #2 and lose 2/3 to #6 and still be ranked #1.
Taylor King at King Fencing. Great guy and they do good work.

Still there. Walk ins only. Stopped cutting on Saturdays as of March but he's in there at 7am some days if you want to get in before work.
Yeah man, if that’s your main goal for treatment, it can be an option.

re: How old is too old for braces?

I have older patients saying their parents couldn’t afford it when they were young, so they finally decided to take care of themselves once they finish up getting all their kids out of treatment. Had an 80 year old in treatment not long ago.
I second going to MD Anderson. My dad has been seen by Dr. Frank for years. Very knowledgeable and really cares about his patients.
