This is a really shitty thing and needs to be addressed in all future Olympic bids. It's also a reminder of how lucky we are to have the ADA regulations we do. I'm not dead or blind but can't imagine doing anything outside my house if those protections weren't there.

I'm aware of the rules. We have a friend whose daughter is on the Olympic swim team, and she can't go.
We aren't talking about a matter of convenience or attendance, but someone with a disability that needs help participating in the Paralympics you fool.
