Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries agents have made an arrest in connection with the deadly boat wreck that occurred in July on the Tickfaw River. Jason Chaisson, 34, of Holden, has been arrested and charged with nine counts: seven felonies and two misdemeanors.

quote:

He’s charged with five counts first-degree vehicular negligent injury, two counts vehicular homicide, DWI second offense and careless operation.

quote:

Officials told UWK that investigators had to await toxicology screenings for Sharkey and Chaisson, which is standard protocol in fatal crashes. The results, which took several weeks to process, led to Chaisson’s arrest Thursday.

More about the charges, 4 of the injured are still in the hospital.
Didn’t see any specifics on toxicology report.

Older story about guy that was injured

The GFM for his girlfriend says she will not be able to fully walk for a year
quote:

During this tragedy, she was thrown from the boat, causing multiple fractures in her femur and demolishing her knee caps, along with facial split needing stitches. She also has limited use of her left arm.

quote:

The recovery for walking time is looking like she will not be able to fully walk for about a year.

Not to say I feel sorry for someone who caused so much suffering and pain for another

But it is kind of sad how like one bad decision can completely ruin your life

Out on the boat with friends and family. Oops I got drunk and killed people.

Damn

It's almost never one bad decision.

And this guy has a string of bad ones under his belt.

I have to ask. Any relation to Justin Chaisson (StaleKracker) who knows some things about boating accidents?

Prompt: generate a mug shot of the kind of person that would drunkenly drive a center console boat at high speeds in the middle of the night on the Tickfaw River in Louisiana.

Like Lyle Lovett said, it’s such a shame because You’ve Been So Good Up to Now.

Stalekrackers last name is Chiasson. This cat is Chaisson. Spelled differently.
