Day drinking/alcohol as a “hobby”

These days, I would almost rather drink a few beers at the local brewery than many other activities.
Day drinking on a nice day is an enjoyable activity. I know fishing and golf usually involve alcohol. If you removed alcohol from the fishing/golf equation, what would you prefer?

I'm usually up too late drinking to get up early enough for day drinking. It's a vicious cycle.

I grab a beer or two at lunch every Few days because I enjoy trying new beers.
Don’t show up to work drunk after lunch. Don’t be late for work because you’re hung over. Those are pretty much the rules.
It’s an expensive hobby though. I can tell you that from experience.

Golfing / Fishing sober. I love them so much I don’t like to be drunk. I do like a beer or two. But not the focus.

I love day drinking. Due to having to work and all that, I am not able to do it that often during the week.
