I’m glad I watched this without it being spoiled it definitely wouldn’t land as great because you’re ready for it

the joke with a long sentimental setup to a controversial topic was perfect and you could tell by the audience reaction it was just a straight comedy knockout blow

I think the trans movement is as ridiculous as anyone, he spends two minutes telling a random arse story that’s boring as hell and then makes a simple reference that isn’t particularly clever. Just not humorous to me.
