I've got a good looking, very well educated girl driving 10 hours this weekend just to see me.

FYI, if there's plastic on the floor of the car, don't get in. It's a trap. If she's carrying around a cooler with one of those "human organs" stickers, stay out of the tub full of ice. And whatever you do, don't let her blindfold you and tie you to the bed, she's going to take all your stuff.

Have fun.

You're right, I misunderstood. I thought you were talking about keeping your pimp hand strong (in the vernacular of the OT).

I only read about 4 pages of this thread. Thank god I am happily married. Dating and or hooking up casually should not be over thought this much. If you want to hook up, just do not give a frick and it will happen.

I got over it once I got a real job and my own house. Women frick up all the fun stuff. Haven't actively pursued a girlfriend in over two years and it's been fantastic.

And you still get some, right?

Gotta laugh at a 35 year old woman being picky about men (and then complaining). I guess they didn't get the memo that a 35 year old man can easily date a 25 year old, hotter chick with a better attitude about life.

You got that right, baw. 35 year old women are Cougars who have but one thing to look forward to: one night stands with twenty somethings with absolutely NO commitment or strings attached whatsoever.

Enjoy that Feminism, Ladies!

I might give this book a read. I always love when they apply high end stats to problems.

I know a decent amount of single women, and so many of them just bitch about the lack of availability of guys. I've even had a couple say they wanted to be "Cusacked" and that guys don't have the balls to do that shite anymore.

Could you imagine reading the signals wrong and showing up outside of some chick's house with a boom box in today's world? You'd end up on a sex offender list.

it really is an intractable problem for women

even if the stats don't create a deficit, they have to invest their best childbearing years in school and starting a career

by that 32-35 era, they have to decide if they want kids or a career (b/c having kids is the great separator)

lord help them if they haven't found a long term partner by their mid-late 20s (esp if they fall in line with dating their level)

it really is funny when this is all spun as being patriarchy and due to men, when it's the problems of having a career and being educated. listening to legit feminist solutions for these problems is amazing. biggest pattern is that they want to strip all masculinity from society so we all slide into femininity...which is already being done across society, which is causing this deficit in college...which is devaluing women as anything other than sexual objects

it's the jurassic park problem of social justice

And is fricking awesome for good looking, well educated guys. Why settle down before your 30? Our value only increases

Depends on genetics. My father is 63 and could pass for 40 if he dyed his hair. I'm hoping I get those genes.

Probably not, but you never know. I think he could do 30-35, though. He's already had children (and snipped after me), so the whole fertility thing wouldn't be as important.

I got married a month before turning 30.

Because she was hot, smart, and doing well for herself. And I was sliding into mediocrity and had to trick someone fast.

when it's the problems of having a career and being educated

I don't think an eduation is ever a problem or a waste. I always wanted to be able to support myself. You never know what's going to happen. My mom was a widow with two small children at the age of 28.

I would NEVER put my future in the hands of someone else. I wanted to make sure I could always support myself. My education allows for that. That's not some feminist agenda, that's thinking practically based on life experience.
