I constantly worry about my family.
Same here. My parents are both retired and have their retirement and pension accounts. But, both are in bad health (my dad had a stroke last summer) and they work hard to take care of each other. We worry about what happens to one when something happens to the other.

Get drunk and you won't remember what they say
Eta: It's only one night, so it doesn't matter what they say. Hell, I don't even pretend not to be an a-hole most of the time
A lot more girls are down for a fling than guys think. Round these parts, my dumb arse can get one relatively easily whenever I go out

But, it is much easier to look back over things and think about the choices I made and would I do things differently, did I want a different outcome.
I try not to get too wrapped up in that. Cause if you do, you'll drive yourself crazy over the "shoulda, coulda, wouldas" in your life. Even if you did have the ability to change those choices....doesn't mean it would resulted in a better outcome.
Ex: I could have never met my loser ex, or left him much sooner. Then met someone wonderful and married him in my 20s and had 2 children. Maybe things didn't work out and we divorced with a bitter custody battle. Or him and my children died in a tragic accident leaving me so depressed I ended up committing suicide or having a huge substance abuse problem.
Instead of focusing on what I did wrong in my younger years, I'd rather just think I'm where I'm supposed to be right now and the path I took in life was the one I needed to take to grow as a person. My faith also plays into this thought process as well of course, and I know others don't necessarily share those beliefs (God's timeline vs my own)

Had one over the other night. Pageant girl, very high maintenance. Bitch could not stop fricking rambling about clothes. I was going to add a comma on there, but it was 90% clothes. I had to sit there and nod for 30 minutes before she stopped talking long enough for me to grasp her for the lead-in kiss.

I don't either. I'm perfectly happy with my life choices and where I am now. I'm a firm believer that we are a product of all the choices we made and there is no sense in having regrets.

A carefully placed Jonbenet joke would've shut her up

If she's that vapid, I doubt it would have registered. Maybe a blank stare, a smile, and a nod, but that's about it.

She actually seemed pretty intelligent in our other interactions, or else I wouldn't have hit her up again. Someone with intellect and no substance is kind of scary.

a 35 year old man can easily date a 25 year old, hotter chick with a better attitude about life.
But why would you want to? A lot of 25 year olds are lacking in the maturity department and a lot of the exceptions are already engaged or married.

Maybe she was just really passionate about fashion? Or was really nervous on the date so that is her go to subject to make conversation about.

Sometimes immaturity (to a degree) can be fun.
If I wanted a sage, I'd try to frick Betty White.

Perhaps. Not really my dig. I usually don't go for the standard girly-girl types, but she was attractive and receptive. Now I'm skeptical again.

Certainly different than the two (unbeknowst to me) friends with dyed pube and armpit hair I fricked last year. There's an arse for every seat, I suppose.

Wait, what? I'm gonna need some more details on this. They did what exactly? Could you tell?

Both tinder matches.
End up, quite quickly, snapchatting n00dz of each other. Oh, well, you have a green bush. I guess I'm cool with that, it's a little out there, but so am I. Seal the deal a day or two later.
Repeat the last paragraph, except blue instead of green.
Then I get a snapchat of them hanging out together. It was a little weird.

Just chiming in to let y'all know that I climaxed twice while reading this thread.
Also happy to learn about the existence of The Art of Manliness. Looking like a good site and an adequate Grantland replacement.
