Damn, older white women are taking antidepressants at massive rates, comparatively.

There are more of them than than the rest of the groups. By % would be a better comparison.

I sell life insurance and at LEAST 50% of the folks I quote are on antidepressants and/or anxiety medication.

One interesting thing I’ve also noticed: almost every lesbian couple I work with (especially those on the west coast) is overweight, diabetic, and on antidepressants AND anxiety meds.

People live boring, consumerist lives.

Only going to get worse considering this trend is still relatively new.

Finally realizing no one gives a shite about their faux white-guilt induced outrage/activism.

Look at the stats on our country, especially compared with Europe and the rest of the West. We start pumping our 7 year olds with meth for ADD and don’t stop until 50-60 year olds are taking Valium, lithium, Prozac and a half dozen other mood altering drugs.

This nation is baby soft. All negative feelings must be suppressed and any discomfort must be met with a chemical solution. Don’t be responsible for your own feelings, America. Drug your way through it. Despite living in the most successful, prosperous, richest nation in world history, complain to your doctor about your crippling anxiety and solve your drama with pills.

Antidepressants have a LOT if off-label uses that skew usage too much to assume mental issues from graphs like this.

One or two of their friends have started taking these pills.

Keeping up with the neighbors is skrong in them.
