Well, the first guy happened in 2020, before the vaccines were definitely a thing.

Also, you do know that heat exhaustion is a thing, correct?

This is actually correct.

Nicotinic receptors and Alzheimer’s.

From the Bills Twitter 20 minutes ago

quote:

Damar Hamlin spent last night in the intensive care unit and remains there today in critical condition at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

We are grateful and thankful for the outpouring of support we have received thus far.

I don't EVER want to hear this spewing bullshite that Black Lives Don't Matter.... The world was praying for this guy and the world was funding his charity. Listening to Ryan Clark you would think white people were sneaking through the hospital trying to pull the plug so they could finish the game.

Stop it RC never once gave off this impression.

The NFL says Commissioner Roger Goodell informed the clubs today that the Bills-Bengals game will not be resumed this week and made no decision regarding the possible resumption of the game at a later date.

No changes to the Week 18 regular season schedule.

Maybe. But from what I can gather, his heart rate has stabilized, and he has the advantage of a youthful, strong healthy body. They inserted a breathing tube, and he's in an induced coma. So is this standard procedure for an injury of this sort? Let the body do it's thing.

The human body is an amazing creation. The Deity that created this machine spent a lot of time, over millennia, thinking about the design. I remember seeing a picture of one of the dinosaurs. Forget which one. But the creature had hands, just like human hands. So is it possible, when the Deity created the first human, he borrowed the design for the human hand from that species of dinosaur. Hey, it's an efficient design and it works.

I caught my toddler daughter examining her hands one day. She was checking out the mechanics of her little body. I watched in amazement as the little wheels turned in her head as she gyrated her hands. I wondered if the first human (Adam)did the same thing after the Deity breathed life into him.

But I digress. Just like any parent, I want to believe His Creator hears the prayer of a Mother, his Mother, and a Mom's prayer is a powerful thing.

Lord God please hear our prayers for Damar.

I have no desire to be on twitter.

Why would I need to go to a different site when this thread is about what I am asking?

I will be downvoted for this but I hate when people say this. I know it isn’t intentional but it makes me cringe reading this knowing moms of children that died from leukemia and nobody prayed harder than them. God doesn’t choose which one prayed correctly.

Hopefully his brain function will be good.

I hate to be 'that guy', but this was a pretty damn important game with huge implications for the season. Wonder what they will do?

I think that's a pretty fair question. Doesn't detract from the gravity of the situation or concern for the young man, no matter how much the commentators may want you to think it does.

That's not an unreasonable question to ask. If we were talking about two high school teams then who cares just wipe the game off the schedule. But with the Superbowl and millions upon millions of dollars at stake, they have to come up with something eventually.

But at the same time I think they made the right decision last night too.

They don't have an F'in clue...that's why they did this. They must be hoping for some outcome next week that prevents the need for the game to be played, but I don't see any way that it doesn't cause issues.
