Dallas mom shoots carjacker in head - score one for the good guys

A man got into her vehicle while she was inside the store. The woman jumped into the passenger side and asked him to stop. When the man refused, the woman pulled a gun from the glovebox and shot the man in the head, according to police.
The SUV crashed into a utility pole. The alleged carjacker, Ricky Wright, 36, was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. The woman and her children were not injured.

FFS lock your doors if you go inside and leave your kids in the car. Especially in south Dallas.

She shot him in the head at point blank range and he doesn't have life threatening injuries?

Good for her. I know a former LSU O lineman who someone tried to carjack. Things didn’t go so well for the carjacker

You forgot that they were toddlers and she had a loaded gun in the car. I man, fantastic that she was able to defend herself and her children. But maybe this lady shouldn't be taking care of kids.

Pretty poor parenting. Toddlers out and about at 10 PM left in a car alone with a loaded gun while mother is in store. Mom of the year.
