Some people are focusing way too much on the chief's statement about BLM. What our chief said was left open for speculation for a reason. It doesn't matter at this point regarding BLM and don't think for a second that the police are going to release to the public EXACTLY what the guy said. 
What matters is that they do their job of hunting down every last piece of shite involved with this and prosecuting to the fullest extent-and they will.

Because he has the same feelings towards white cops and the killing of black men by cops. It's seriously as simple as that. I bet if we found his Twitter page he's tweeted out #BLM a zillion times. That's all it takes to be a part of the movement. Just agreeing with the message. He just happened to do something terrible.

The only other thing of note that happened late last night was the standoff with one of the shooters. They eventually got tired of playing around with him and put an explosive device on a robot, sent it in there with the shooter, and detonated it... killing him.

They don't have to shoot into the crowd. They were certainly firing at the shooters, and there could easily have been ricochets. For you to just say unequivocally that there is no way anyone but the shooters hit protesters is asinine.

Cops killed the guy in a standoff with a robotic bomb. He said he was sick of white cops killing black people and wanted to kill more white cops. Suspects in custody are uncooperative.

They ended the standoff. Placed and explosive device on a robot, sent it in with the shooter, and detonated it. That shooter is dead.
They have other people in custody but are not releasing any information at this time.

Because I'm not the one assuming shite. Chief said the suspect said he acted alone, was upset with BLM, mentioned the recent events, wanted to kill white cops. But others come on here and say he was associated with BLM, he was BLM, he was BLM inspired as fact. I mean that's just wanting to push a narrative that has no factual base, it's like Facebook.
