Not sure about the human trafficking aspect, but I imagine it's added when the above happens with a minor.

It's not ok. However it's been going on since there have been teachers and students. I personally don't think it's increased. When I graduated (1981) everyone knew that there were two HS teachers screwing students at the public high school and at least one at the Catholic HS.

I always wonder about the husband in these situations.
McMinnville, TN is the type of place where people live their entire lives and most people know each other.
I mean, if you're the husband, you have to pack up, say goodbye to your family, leave town to start a new life somewhere else and never return...right? You can't hang around with that kind of shame hanging over your head.

Your explanation doesnt make sense because it says in the article she had sex with 9 teenage boys. How the hell did she think she could screw 9 teenagers and the entire school and community not hear the rumors? Was she trying to get caught?

Mary Kay Letournou's husband packed up and took their four or five kids to fricking Alaska to avoid the notoriety. And that was after the first go 'round, before she went to prison and the shite really got weird.
