I know they have a lifetime warranty, but what is everyone's experience with how well they keep their edge?

I got 1 knife years ago. It’s a decent knife. The warranty is legit

ETA I got mine at a yard sale for like $5. The tip was snapped off. I sent it back and got a new one.

Ask yourself this. How many Cutco knives are in professional kitchens, and there’s your answer.

Just get a good 8” chef knife, filet knife, and bread knife like Henkel, Wusthof, or Global and stop messing around with silly

Expensive, but good quality and great warranty. My parents bought them almost 20 years ago and they are still great today.

I have a set of steak knives I bought as a favor. They are actually pretty good.

I agree...poor way to sell them but my Parents gave me theirs that they purchased from a college kid salesman in the mid 90’s. Still awesome & warranty is absolutely legit.

That literally was me for like 4 days.

I tried selling them to my relatives first, because that was the company training. I come from a long line of lower-middle class white trash and when I tried to sell them expensive knives, they laughed their asses off, so I quit.

The guy running the racket was a guy whose name was Rafael Navarro, I think. A real snake.

We have some of the kitchen shears, and a few of the specialty knives. I think a sandwich spreader, and a small knife. My wife bought some from a student after she graduated. She used to work in a high school's accounting office, and had student helpers. The girl was selling these that summer before going to college, and we just bought a few things. That was probably 10-12 years ago and everything holds up well. Never had to deal with the warranty.

Good knives and they have a catalog now so you don't have to go through the BS presentation.
i own a set of kitchen, 2 skinning and a few utility versions for everyday stuff. they don't stay sharp 'forever' but the steel is quality and sharpens easily and to a very sharp edge.

One of my kids broke a 15 yr old steak knife using it as a damned screw driver. Sent it back to them and they replaced it at no cost with no questions asked.

My in-laws have a set but they're in the attic. They're afraid of how sharp they are.
