I work with a guy who believes in the illuminati and stuff even crazier than that and he has said that the media or "media" puts subliminal messages in advertising and what not. I thought he was just fascinated with 'they live' or other tales like that but no he really believes that stuff. To be fair, those pics of Barry O he's doing the normal way, the guy who got banned was doing it upside down, which I learned today was racist.

They did such an exhaustive day long investigation to feel confident that there is at least a 51% chance that something most people would see as the ok sign or circle game was done by the person in a racist way and deserved a ban.
They are both covering themselves against the SWJ backlash and covering themselves against a potential lawsuit by not naming the person they are branding racist only using their in house sabermetrics findings on ok signs by white males that 51% of the time, it’s racist every time.

It's not like the Cubs will have have their security on the lookout for this dude. He'll be able to go back to games. This just gives them an out to claim he is trespassing if he ever does anything that gains attention. It's PR move.
