This was on Reddit last week. Minus the lie that it actually happened to the OP.

As if people carry razor blades in their toilet kits these days. Through TSA no less. Also, as someone who has performed this procedure in a clinical setting, there ain’t NO WAY some untrained dude is doing that on a plane with improvised tools. No way.

This doesn't sound right.

My BIL, who is a board certified anesthesiologist, was on a flight with a cardiac emergency. He was sitting next to a cardiologist and they had been talking shop before the emergency. When the flight attendant called for a doctor, the cardiologist didn't budge. My BIL asked him if he was going to respond. He said, "No",So my BIL did.

A large lady was sprawled out in the aisle, feet towards my BIL, in obvious distress. He had to put his hands on the top of seatbacks to vault over her. Before they let him do shite, they asked for ID. I don't remember what he showed them, but they accepted it. He was surprised to be checked.
