Dude, I am pretty sure this was one of those chain emails back before they had social media. Seriously, I am not saying that to try to be funny. I am pretty sure I received this in an email.. The type of emails your uncle would forward to you because he thinks its hilarious...

Nothing, aside from my BIL not talking to him for the remainder of the flight. It's a volunteer request. He was more worried about a potential lawsuit than the lady's life, so he chose not to volunteer.

JFK to SFO. They made an emergency landing in Kansas City (I think). My BIL got a round of applause from the passengers. Him and his wife got free champagne for the remainder of the flight and some kind of free flight from UAL.

But they checked to make sure he was a doctor, and he didn't even do a field expedient emergency trach.
