Yeah he lies about working 12 hours days. All the mother fricker does is yell on the phone all day and traces shite in Bluebeam and talks how he’s the best project manager the world has ever seen. He’ll drive to office at 6:30 am , unlock and leave before anyone gets there , disappear for 3-4 hours and come back around 10:30 am and shite. ‘Bruh I been working so hard’ . And the boss is asking me ,’ have you seen so and so?’ Lol
And he wrecked the company truck we share like a month after I started at 6:30 in the morning or some shite. Who knows . We’ll never get the full story from him.

Seems you're dealing with a very insecure co-worker who is threatened by you and probably everyone else too. If he's coming in wierd hours, when no one else is around, he's probably snooping in other folk's offices. I suggest locking your door, desk, etc.
If he's on linkedin, etc., see if his length of employment is listed. There's probably a listing of employee start dates in an employee directory that's viewable for all employees. If it really bugs you, then next time he says two years, say "when exactly did you start" and pin it down. This can send multiple messages. The other guy might be wrong too and he's really been employed closer to two years.

Exactly! The response you got from the 3rd person showed that other people are already aware that he can’t be trusted. Management has no future plans for individuals who can’t be trusted.
Just relax and smile when he lies knowing that it’s just a matter of “when” not “if”. Play it cool and you may even get to witness it.
