Sure hope so. We build buildings in plants and are going to have a great year and still had 1 project cancel, two on hold indefinitely and 1 pushed to 2021. Backlog for 2021 is non-existent and bids since March have been next to none. If something doesn't pick up by October, tough decisions will have to be made by March of next year. No one is spending a dime on any capital expenditures at the plants.

Yep.
I'm seeing some glimmers of hope though. Small cap expenses. But, at least it's something.

I‘ll make more money than I ever have this year and I’m in sales. Schools are spending more money than they ever have but I sell disinfectants, hand santizer, automatic touchless dispensers, toilet paper, microfiber and masks. Been with the same company for almost 20 years and I guess I just lucked out to be working for a company that sells all those products during Covid.

I sell capital equipment to schools and have been going gangbusters throughout this pandemic. I also stock PPE through one of my vendors.

Finished up a $5 million project in the Atlanta suburbs, closing a $4 million project in my area tomorrow, have a $2 million project in the Columbus area on the schedule for next summer and a $2 million project in Mobile in the same time frame as Columbus. It's been hard not going into schools, but to be honest, I have enough on my plate to keep me busy for the next 18 months or so.

I’m really sorry you’re stressed, and I hope things get better for you really soon!

All the people on here bragging about your financial success is completely unnecessary and kind of rude. It’s nice to have other people relate to what someone is struggling with and to share a little sympathy.

Well we closed for awhile but since opening back up in early June sales have been fine. The student rush not coming back as hard will hit, that's usually a 6-7k pay check for me which suck to miss. Oh well. My GF made almost 900 a week sitting at home doing nothing during this so we came out pretty decently considering she only served part time while in school.

Where does she work? My company just laid off 800 people. I'm safe for now, but pretty sure that's only temporary. I would much rather work than take the unemployment.

We're up 10% for the year.

But, yeah, I get it. Industries are suffering worldwide. We need to move on from this pandemic.

I was doing fine at first. My company has always done a lot of overseas production so when nobody could get PPE supplies we were able to get out ahead of everyone and made really good money in the first month or so, but that died off completely so the last 3 months have been really slow.

Thankfully I made enough in that first month, but at this time I am way short of where I normally am because businesses are still slow to start buying.

I can't get mad about it because a ton of people have it a lot worse than I do.

I'm not having anxiety about it, but it definitely has my depression in a tizzy.
